Mr. Sandman by The Chordettes plays, and Jade’s four-year-old cat, Ed, is seen ‘performing’ to the music.

The adorable video has left social media users smitten.

‘This is it, this is the best video on this cursed app,’ wrote one person on TikTok.

‘Why can’t I stop laughing?’ asked another, while a third wrote: ‘I genuinely can’t stop watching this help.’

Jade is shocked that her video has gone viral.

‘Honestly, not much thought went into this video, I was just bored one night and I saw another users video using the 9-person filter and so I thought to myself, this would be funny if I did it with my cat and so I did!’ she told BoredPanda.

‘People reacted to it way more than I thought they would! Everyone thought it was super cute and funny at the same time and lots of people were saying that it made their day.’

Jade’s video was actually a take on a trend started by TikTok user Enoch True, whose own Mr. Sandman video has been viewed 22.5 million times and inspired lots of copycats — including one quite literal copy cat.

Since Ed’s furry version went viral, Jade has started an Instagram account for him.
