Aldi's popular £17 quesadilla maker is back on sale later this week

DINNER could get a lot more spicy this September as Aldi plans to bring back its popular quesadilla maker.

The discount chain is putting the Ambiano Quesadilla Maker back on sale from Sunday as part of celebrations for Mexico's independence day.

Mexican independence day, or Grito de Dolores, is on September 16 and Aldi is helping shoppers get ready to celebrate early.

Its Ambiano Quesadilla Maker will go on sale online from Sunday September 5 as part of its latest Specialbuys range and will be available in-store from September 12.

It was previously available last year and got rave reviews from customers who rated it as 4.8 stars out of five online.

The kitchen gadget lets you make six quesadillas that you can fill with cheese or other ingredients.

There is an auto-thermostat to make sure your quesadilla or tortilla doesn't burn and non-stick plates to reduce mess and waste.

It costs £16.99 and comes with a three-year warranty.

Delivery is free with Aldi on orders above £30 so you would need to add more to your online basket.

Otherwise, standard delivery in three to five days costs £2.95.

Next day or named day delivery costs from £3.95.

Alternatively, you could wait until it is available in your local Aldi store from September 12.

Use the Aldi store finder to locate your nearest supermarket.

It is always worth shopping around to compare prices using websites such as Google Shopping or PriceSpy.

This deal is cheap compared with other quesadilla makers we found online.

For example, Amazon has a tortilla maker for £29.99, which is £13 more than Aldi's

Aldi has been releasing new Specialbuy products every Sunday and Thursday throughout the summer.

It will also offer an Ambiano Frozen Drinks Maker from September 5 online and in-store from September 12 for £24.99, plus it is already selling El Toro Tequila for £16.99.

As the summer comes to a close now we can look forward to Christmas, but Aldi is one of a number of stores closing on Boxing day to give staff a break.

You can checkout Aldi's Christmas menu to gear up for the festive season.
