B&M store launches massive 75% off closing down sale | The Sun

B&M has slashed prices by as much as 75% at one store, as it prepares to close down for good. 

Shoppershave got hold of big bargains on offer at the branch – but others expressed their sadness at the store’s closure.

The B&M store in Southgate Street in Gloucester is set to close its doors tomorrow (July 23). 

Shoppers have spotted a sale at the store with as much as 75% off for all items apart from alcohol.  So be sure to get down soon if you want to grab a bargain if you're near by. 

One shopper on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group said they had been able to get a 12ft trampoline for just £37.50.

The same product on B&M's website was listed at a price of £150 at the time of writing.

We’ve asked B&M why the store is closing and will update when we hear back. 

According to Gloucestershire Live a sign was put up in the window of the store announcing the closure. 

It said: “Dear customers, we regret to inform you that on 23/07/22 this store will be closing its doors.

We asked if any other stores are likely to have the same cut prices because they're also closing down, and we'll let you know once we hear back.

While shoppers flocked for good deals, some expressed their sadness at the store’s closure. 

“This one's in the centre of town, all the others are in retail parks with free parking available,” one Facebook user said on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group. 

“Shame to see yet another shop close in the city centre,” they added. 

It's not the first time that B&M has hosted the major discounts in the wake of store closures.

Last year shoppers were able to get bargains for as much as 50% after a store in Rugby closed its doors.

One savvy saver revealed how she had managed to bag over 45 items from the store that should have left her forking out £234.

But because of the major price reductions, the shopper walked away having paid only £116.

And earlier that year, shoppers from Slough benefited from a similar price cut frenzy as a separate closing down sale took effect at a B&M store in the area.

Meanwhile another much loved branch in Glasgow brought down the shutters, but not before slashing everything in store by 25% too.
