We're almost at the end of January and if you're still feeling broke from Christmas, here's a way you can save money.
The experts at Money Saving Expert, the website founded by Martin Lewis, have revealed a simple 1p challenge.
If you make it until the end of 2021, the idea is that you will have saved £688 without even realising it.
All you have to do is put 1p aside on the first day of the year and add an extra penny for 365 days.
So it would be 1p on January 1, 2p on January 2, 3p on January 3 and then you get the idea…
By the time you hit December 31, you'd be putting £3.65 away which totals the amount to £667.95 across the year.
It doesn't matter if today is January 21 and you haven't begun, you can just make up what you've missed.
And if you're not the sort of person to carry change, don't worry you can just transfer the money to a savings pot.
The Money Saving Expert website shared its tracker to help you monitor your progress so you don't lose focus on things.
But before you begin to save, don't forget to pay off your debts or you'll have to pay interest!
Molly Mileham-Chappell, author of the MSE blog, said: "Part of the fun is that the challenge can take a fair bit of discipline.
"Even if you don't stick to it to a tee, what's really important here is that you're thinking about saving and trying to put money aside.
"You can make the challenge work for you – if you don't use cash, see if you can set the money aside using your online banking.
"But remember, it's usually best to pay off debts before you begin to save."
