Denise Van Outen has given a glimpse of the incredible graffiti artwork at her sprawling Essex home.

The West End actress, 46, posted a time-lapse video of a graffiti artist creating the stunning design at her Chelmsford home that she shares with boyfriend Eddie Boxshall and daughter Betsy from her marriage with Lee Mead.

Denise enlisted the help of artist Dave, also knowns as Gnasher Murals, to create the amazing 90s artwork on a wall in her garden.

The mum-of-one started by sharing the blank wall in her garden which included a framed white picture of a floral peace sign.

The talented artist set to work by creating huge purple lettering in the centre of the wall which read: “Let there be house.”

Dave sketched the outline of Betsy, Denise and Eddie and started bringing their caricatures to life with spray paint.

Betsy, who recently turned 11, was given the name Bet C and her cartoon was painted jumping in the air alongside the slogan: “Girl power.”

Meanwhile Denise, abbreviated to her initials, DVO, was drawn with her 90s-style blonde locks in bunches while she cooked fried eggs in a nod to her presenting days on Channel 4’s The Big Breakfast.

Dave painted a caricature of Eddie, with the nickname Ed.B, and pictured him in front of DJ decks with headphones on to show off his love of music alongside their two French bulldogs.

The 46 year old, a commodities trader from Essex who specialises in the oil business, regularly shares snaps of his DJ skills at home with his 54,000 Instagram followers.

Denise panned across the finished artwork which added a vibrant colour pop to the previous grey wall.

Captioning the footage to her 546,000 followers, she penned: “Loved watching DAVE (graffiti legend) transform one of our garden walls into a fun 90’s memorabilia piece of art. Even my BIG BREAKFAST was included.”

Denise and Eddie began dating in July 2014 after being introduced by a mutual friend and moved in together in 2019.

The actress is also step-mum to Eddie's 21 year old daughter Leah but previously ruled out having any more children and said she did not have any regrets about it.

"Two or three years ago we did talk about trying to have children. But it never happened and I don't have any regrets," she explained.

The couple, who have been together for seven years, recently revealed that they plan to tie the knot after lockdown and have started a podcast, Before I Say I Do, to test different forms of relationship therapy.
