HOME Bargains has proved a hit with shoppers in the run-up to the festive period.

But people hoping to bag a last minute bargain need to be aware of changes to the opening hours before visiting one of the stores over the Christmasperiod.

What are the Home Bargains opening times over the Christmas Bank Holiday?

Home Bargains is a chain of discount stores across the UK.

The company has over 500 stores, and employs more than 22,000 staff

The store will be open on Christmas Eve, but will close at an earlier time of 5pm.

They will be closed on Christmas Day as well as Boxing Day, before reopening on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, which is a bank holiday, so expect to have reduced hours in which to get your shop done.

This allows staff to have a proper holiday break to enjoy Christmas festivities with their loved ones.

The store will be open from December 27 until New Year's Eve, with many opening later and closing earlier.

It's wise to use the store locator and check when your local retailer will be open during the festive period.

On New Year's Day, which falls on a Sunday in 2023, all stores will be closed.
