Iceland launches huge January sale including HALF PRICE cereal, beans and more

ICELAND has launched a January sale on hundreds of its products, with some up to half price.

Households needing to stock up the cupboards after Christmas, can bag a bargain at their nearest Iceland store.

While there are plenty of New Year sales running across the high street, you might not realise you can stock up your freezer at a discount too.

Iceland's sale spans refrigerated and frozen foods and well as many staples for your cupboard.

If you've not eaten enough roast dinners over the festive period, we spotted a 700g bag of Aunt Bessie's Glorious Duck Fat Roast Potatoes for half price on the supermarket's website – down to £1.50.

A number of cereals are half price too, including Kellogg's Honey Pops for £1 a box.

You can stock up on Dairylea Cheese Spread for £1 instead of the usual £1.50, and a six pack of Babybels is less than half price at £1, down from £2.10.

Also spotted in the sale were Heinz Baked Beanz with Sausages, Comfort Fabric Conditioner, and a pack of frozen Greggs vegan steak bakes.

How you could get up to £430 free cash to help pay bills this January

If you're looking to head out to the supermarket, it's best to check the opening times.

Today, January 3, is a bank holiday so some stores have different trading hours than usual.

We've rounded up the opening times of all the supermarkets over New Year, including Tesco and Morrisons.

You can find the details of your nearest Iceland shop by using its store finder tool.

And if you don't fancy venturing outdoors, the supermarket does offer free delivery on orders over £40.

We've asked Iceland how long the sale lasts and will update this story when we know more.

Elsewhere, we've seen supermarkets slash the price of chocolate tubs including Heroes and Lindt.

Plus, retailers including John Lewis and H&M have sales on with discounts of up to 70%.

And if you're looking to save rather than spend, here's an easy challenge that could help you stash £1,500 this year.
