Khloé Kardashian celebrated her 35th birthday with a sexy, over-the-top party on Thursday night.
In true Kardashian fashion, the all-pink bash featured tons of customized cakes, hundreds of flowers and pink grilled cheese, as well as custom “HBD Koko” sweatshirts from Scott Disick’s Talentless brand. However, it was Kim Kardashian’s birthday present that stole the show.
The beauty mogul poked fun at her younger sister’s single status by gifting her a $4,500 crystal-covered Judith Leiber purse in the shape of an eggplant, playing up the vegetable’s phallic connotations on her Instagram Stories. “I just thought it was really fitting for her,” Kim explained. “She loves it, so she’s definitely getting some eggplant for her birthday.”
Khloé also received video messages from her famous sisters to mark the occasion, with Kim alluding to Khloé’s breakup with Tristan Thompson in hers: “I honestly wish this next year for you to be drama-free, to be happy, healthy, full of love and no more bulls—t,” Kim said. “Just fun and carefree. Seriously stress-free, that’s all I want for you.”
Khloé’s party was certainly filled with carefree moments, with guests taking shots, dancing to Beyoncé and riding a mechanical bull. Party planner Kylie even memorialized iconic Khloé quotes from “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” including “I never stopped being a hoe [sic]” and “The bigger the hoop the bigger the ho,” on cups and in neon signs around Kardashian’s backyard.
Earlier in the day, Thompson, who cheated on Kardashian with Kylie’s best friend Jordyn Woods in February, wished his ex a happy birthday with an Instagram tribute. “You are the most beautiful human I have ever met inside and out,” he captioned an old photo of Khloé holding the couple’s daughter, True. “Thank you for being an amazing mommy to our princess True. She is blessed to have someone like you to look up to. I wish you nothing but more success and sending you positive blessing your way.”
He does not appear to have been invited to the party.
