On the red carpet at Saturday’s 2022 Producers Guild Awards, Kristen Stewart looked ethereal in a wedding-white dress by Brandon Maxwell with a sheer bustier bodice and a full cable jacquard skirt.
The 31-year-old “Spencer” actress played up the bridal feel of the look with a softly curled updo, rosy makeup and sparkling jewelry from Chanel and Cast.
She also had on the square-cut silver band she’s been spotted wearing since she and fiancée Dylan Meyer got engaged in November, believed to be her engagement ring.
But don’t expect Stewart to walk down the aisle in a similar bridal gown; the “Twilight” star called herself “so unceremonial” during a January appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” saying she’d rather just “have a big party.”
“I think we might just go do it this weekend or something … and then, like, just hang out with everyone afterwards,” Stewart said at the time. “I just want to do it … I’m not a good planner. I can’t make plans for dinner. I like to pivot. You never know where I’m going, man.”
No matter what she decides to wear on her big day — provided it hasn’t already happened, of course — the star will have her pick of couture. She’s been a Chanel ambassador since 2013, and has sported straight-off-the-runway looks from the French fashion house throughout the “Spencer” press tour.
She and Meyer, a screenwriter, first met in 2013 and were spotted kissing in 2019 after reuniting at a friend’s party.
