Lizzo gets out the vote in sexy, star-spangled style

Lizzo knows voting feels good as hell.

The Grammy winner, 32, has been sharing a steady stream of stylish election-themed snaps over the past month, starting with an “Auntie Sam” getup in mid-October — complete with star-spangled hat and blue blazer.

“I see YOU using your power of protest and your freedom of speech. I see YOU unlearning the narrow scope of our history and seeking the truth. ITS TIME TO USE YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE. WE NEED YOU,” she captioned her Instagram photo, even twerking in the look for good measure.

For the Billboard Music Awards, Lizzo modeled a Christian Siriano “Vote” dress to take home the Top Song Sales Artist honor.

“IM SO EXCITED THAT WE ALL GETTING READY TO VOTE! IMA TREAT THIS S—T LIKE HALLOWEEN AND GET ALL DRESSED UP TO CELEBRATE OUR RIGHT WE FOUGHT SO DAMN HARD FOR!” the pop star captioned a clip of her ensemble, pairing the LBD with a matching hat.

Next, she went full “Legally Blonde” in a pink gingham cropped blazer ($1,500), miniskirt ($980) and bra top ($795), also by Siriano. Lizzo struck a powerful pose in the outfit, writing, “Today is dedicated to our leaders who’ve paved the way. Where would we be without our pioneers? As we honor the rights our predecessors dreamed of let us be leaders for the next generation. We’ve come too far to give up now. Are you ready to vote?”

She then used an intricate hairstyle to call attention to the number of eligible voters who didn’t participate in the 2016 election, wearing delicate twists that formed a “40%” atop her head.

“THIS IS A HUGE DEAL. 40% OF AMERICANS DID NOT VOTE IN 2016! HOW CAN THIS COUNTRY BE 100% THAT BITCH IF WE’RE MISSING 40% OF OUR ELIGIBLE VOTERS?!?” she asked in her caption.

When it came time to cast her own ballot, Lizzo went all out with white denim cutoffs, an American flag-themed bustier, crystal-encrusted Jimmy Choo x Timberland boots ($5,500) and a glossy red clutch, even rocking a head full of fiery curls to match.

“This is my 3rd time voting in my whole life,” she captioned a clip of herself dropping off her vote at a ballot box. “When you think about how few and far in between that is it really puts things into perspective! I believe this is the beginning of making voting ACCESSIBLE and FAIR so that this country reflects its people. To all my activists, thank you for your constant organizing & service. Let’s get our vote in so we can get back to the good fight for true liberty and justice for ALL.”

Lest you think Lizzo’s patriotic fashion parade ended when she cast her own ballot, guess again: On Tuesday, the “Juice” singer celebrated Election Day in a custom American flag jumpsuit by Rey Ortiz that showed plenty of skin — and shared a powerful message.

“When I think of this country I don’t think of its laws I think of its people,” she began her lengthy caption. “I think about how we were raised to be patriotic of violence, propaganda & war. I think about how this country is owned by the oppressor and how the oppressed are locked in a valley of capitalism.”

Continued Lizzo, “But I also think of the young people who refuse to be spoon fed mistruths. I think of the elders who bucked against hateful prejudices even when it felt impossible…. Because of you, I’m still hopeful.”

She also advocated for equality, fairness, the separation of church and state and more, and finished her message with the words, “Today’s the last day to vote. Stay in line, stay determined and thank YOU for voting.”
