Love Island’s Sharon Gaffka called ‘unreal’ by fans as she debuts two-tone hair colour

Love Island star Sharon Gaffka loves switching up her hairstyle, and since departing the villa she’s rocked everything from caramel-hued locks to an Ariana Grande-inspired ponytail. However it’s her latest hair transformation that has truly grabbed our attention.

In a series of snaps shared to her Instagram account, the 25 year old has been spotted championing the popular money-piece hair trend – a process which involves pairing a darker base colour with contrasting light sections that frame the face.

It’s a whole new look for Sharon who, during her time in the villa, was known for having a gorgeous sun-kissed balayage shade and flattering “lob” (long bob) hairstyle.

The former Islander has shared a collection of glamorous snaps to her Instagram feed, with her freshly-dyed locks styled into beachy, tousled waves.

The post has amassed over 23K likes so far, with fans flocking to the comment section to shower her with compliments.

“Unreal,” one fan says, posting heart eye emojis.

“It’s the dark hair for me,” another writes, while a third adds: “Beautiful as always Sharon.”

Clearly pleased with the feedback, Sharon has since jumped on her Instagram Stories to thank her fans directly for their kind words.

“Thank you so much to everyone who commented on my hair,” Sharon writes.

“I went back to my natural colour and added ashy money pieces – with thanks to the amazing @hairbygh,” she adds, tagging her hairdresser Georgina Harkins.

To achieve her mermaid waves, Sharon reveals that she used the Beauty Works Waver, £69.99 here, before finishing with a few drops of argan oil to give her locks a super glossy finish.

Since leaving the ITV2 dating competition, the former beauty queen has been very active on social media, often sharing beauty tips and tricks with fans as well as her favourite skincare and makeup products.

In a post shared to her Stories this week, the star was asked for her “go-to skincare items”, to which she replied with a whole list of her current favourites.

For her face, Sharon favours Liz Earle’s Skin Repair Light, £23 here and the brand’s cult classic Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, £27 here.

This Liz Earle cleanser is a favourite amongst beauty fans but if you’re not looking to splash out on skincare this month, supermarket Asda has just launched a bargain alternative that costs just £4 instead – for less than a fiver, it’s worth a go!
