Mrs Hinch unveils stunning DIY Christmas decorations at £1.1m Essex farmhouse

Mrs Hinch has revealed her stunning Christmas decorations at her £1.1million Essex farmhouse.

Real name Sophie Hinchliffe, the 32-year-old Instagram influencer gave her 4.6million followers a tutorial of how she transformed her empty bay window into a ‘winter wonderland’.

This will be the first Christmas that she will be spending in her new home with her husband Jamie and two sons Ronnie and Lennie.

On January 1, the family shared a picture of their new set of keys with the words ‘Hinch Farm’ engraved on – saying they were starting a new chapter in the countryside.

Ever since, the mum-of-two has been sharing videos of her DIY jobs around the home and organisational tips that rocketed her to fame.

In her most recent video she can be seen creating a ‘magical’ nativity scene with fairy lights, dainty ornaments and dangly stars from the ceiling.

She begins by cutting fresh foliage cut from her garden before laying down a sheet of bubble wrap on the triangle window ledge.

She then layers the green branches one by one before adding a tiny bench from Pretty Little Home and a cutout of a nativity scene from CharlesTed Interiors.

Next, she adds decorations around the greenery starting with mini bunches of glittery red berries, little glass-coloured houses, pine cones and dried oranges.

She also sticks mini Command clear hooks onto her ceiling before dangling five wooden stars from Perrywood Garden Centre tied with twine and embellished with silver and gold snowflakes.

To finish it off she weaves tiny fairy lights from eBay around the branches and under the cones and lights up the tea-lights.

In the post she wrote: “DIY Christmas Bay Display. Officially started to decorate Hinch Farm for our first Christmas here and it feels so surreal.

“Now I want to decorate more windowsills. Have a wonderful evening everyone. Lots of love from us.”

Loose women panellist and best friend Stacey Solomon commented: “Beautiful! Snip snip"

One fan said: “It’s a proper winter wonderland! I hope it snows it will look stunning at Hinch Farm! Ps did you do those oranges I love the smell of dried citrus with cloves I’m inspired.”

While another commented: “I bet that smells absolutely incredible! It looks amazing. It wouldn’t last two minutes in my house with my dogs unfortunately. Can’t wait to see Hinch Farm fully decorated for Christmas.”
