The 10-time Grammy winner donated £23,373 (more than $30,000) to a GoFundMe campaign started by Vitoria Mario, an aspiring mathematician who is from Portugal and now lives in the U.K.

In a financial breakdown shared in her GoFundMe, Mario showed donors that the acquired funds would go to her accommodation, equipment and assorted living costs such as food, transport, gas, electricity and more. The University of Warwick is a prestigious university that is ranked among the top 10 universities in the U.K. for 2021, according to topuniversities.com.
