Tom Brady is branching out beyond football.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, 44, is set to launch a clothing line called Brady at Nordstrom this December.
“I feel like I’m living two lives,” he told WSJ. Magazine. “My football life and then my post-football life.”
“We’re just focused on creating the finest sports brand in the world,” said Brady’s co-founder and CEO, Jens Grede — who works with Kim Kardashian on her Skims brand and whose wife, Emma Grede, serves as co-founder of Khloé Kardashian’s Good American line.
“That really is the ambition.”
It probably helps that Brady’s wife, Gisele Bündchen, knows a thing or two about fashion.
“She’s obviously got incredible taste,” the athlete said of his supermodel spouse, noting that Bündchen is “very much a hippie” who would “just prefer to wear, like, a simple little dress in 80-degree weather and, you know, just chill out.”
“He loves clothes way more than I do,” the supermodel, 41, told the outlet. “He has great taste and understands and really cares about what people want, what can help them feel good. That’s what fashion is about.”
The activewear-focused collection is just one of many ventures Brady is exploring as speculation continues to mount about when he might retire. His TB12 fitness program already includes a book, supplements and workout gear, and he’s building an entertainment portfolio with a company called 199 Productions.
