This month has been great for Adele fans. The singer recently announced that her next studio album, 30, will be hitting shelves on November 19 of this year. To make things even more exciting, the album’s first song, Easy On Me, was released overnight – her first new track in five years. But will the singer be going on tour anytime soon?
Adele appeared on Zoe Ball’s BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show this morning where she was grilled about her new song.
After speaking about the song and the new album, the star was quizzed over any potential upcoming tour announcements.
Zoe asked: “There’s lots of people asking: Will there be a tour?”
Adele confirmed: “I don’t have any solid plans because of Covid. It’s so hard to plan a global tour or a global thing, really, in person, and stuff like that.”
However, there was some good news hidden in Adele’s comments.

Adele continued: “We have a few options in the pipeline.
“We’re just trying to, sort of, work out what is most doable.”
She went on to add: “But I’ll be doing something or other. Maybe I’ll be busking in the tube, we don’t know do we?!”
Adele last went on tour in 2017, where she was forced to cancel her final two shows in London’s Wembley Stadium.
The singer cancelled the two shows after receiving some medical advice.
The Skyfall star had damaged her vocal cords at the time.
She made the announcement on her Twitter account, saying: “To say I’m heartbroken would be a complete understatement.”
Adele addressed these shows talking to Zoe, saying: “Obviously, I had to cancel my final two Wembley shows, which, I was devastated.”
She solemnly added: “I just don’t want to be cancelling anything again.”
In 2017 the singer released a statement apologising to her fans for cancelling the aforementioned shows.
She said: “I had to push a lot harder than I normally do… it turns out I have damaged my vocal cords. On medical advice, I am simply unable to perform over the weekend.”
Adele went on: “I’ve considered doing Saturday night’s show, but it’s highly unlikely I’d even make it through the set and I simply can’t crumble in front of you all and walk out on you in that way.”
She also confessed to considering miming on stage.
But, she added: “I’ve never done it and I cannot in a million years do that to you. It wouldn’t be the real me up there.”
