BTS J-Hope and Jungkook in awkward on-stage fall during Grammys performance

BTS star J-Hope fell as the band took centre stage at the Grammy Awards on Sunday (March 3).

The K-pop chart-toppers delivered a spectacular performance of their number one single Butter at the music awards in Las Vegas and it even featured a cameo from Olivia Rodrigo.

The popular music band – which includes members J-Hope, V, Suga, Jimin, Jungkook and RM – have been celebrated by fans for their performance despite some members of the band tripping on stage.

In a clip being shared on Twitter, J-Hope can be seen nearly tripping as he makes his way toward the stairs.

The camera angle captures the K-pop star in full view before he manages to recover himself and continue on with the performance.

Later in the set, member Jungkook ever-so-slightly slipped as he descended steps on the stage but was able to recover quickly like J-Hope.

Fans flooded the group with plenty of support and praise on social media.

One tweeted: "JK almost kinda trip too.. or soo I think but the performance was good enough and they were as always professional, they can handle it smoothly."

Another wrote: "Anyone else catch this stumble during the BTS #GRAMMYs performance? He played it off well despite tripping!"

A third wrote: "He's such a professional I thought he was picking something off the floor."

It was all quite a spectacle for their performance as Jungkook made a dramatic entrance by flying in from the ceiling.

The group also looked very dapper in an array of silver and shimmery black suits.

As the boyband made their way on the red carpet, the group spoke about being Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category.

RM told E! News about their mention: "You know, it's an award voted by the peers in the music industry, so that means even so much. And, you know, these two years were so exhausting and devastating. And if we get Grammys, it'll all pay off."
