Hailey Bieber breaks silence on hospital dash and suffered ‘blood clot’ on brain

Justin Bieber’s wife Hailey Bieber has broken her silence after being rushed to hospital with ‘stroke-like symptoms’ – and revealed she suffered a ‘blood clot’ on her brain.

Reports from TMZ said Hailey was hospitalised in Palm Springs after symptoms affected her movement – with doctors running various tests to see if it could be Covid-19 related.

Her husband Justin was diagnosed with the virus in February, and was forced to postpone his Las Vegas live gig until summer 2022.

Now, 25-year-old Hailey has taken to Instagram to offer her worried fans a health update, explaining that she suffered a "blood clot to the brain".

In a statement posted to her Instagram Stories, Hailey wrote: "On Thursday morning, I was sitting at breakfast with my husband when I started having stroke-like symptoms and was taken to the hospital.

"They found I had suffered a very small blood clot to my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body had passed it on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours.

"Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I’ve ever been through, I’m home now and doing well, and I’m so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me!"

The star concluded: "Thank you to everyone who has reached out with well wishes and concern, and for all the support and love."

Hailey added a string of love-heart emojis before signing the post off with her name.

It comes after Justin’s Covid-19 diagnosis back in February, with a statement released on his behalf at the time which read: "Due to positive COVID results within the Justice Tour family, we will unfortunately have to postpone Sunday's show in Las Vegas.

"Justin is of course hugely disappointed, but the health and safety of his crew and fans is always his number one priority.

"The tour launch in San Diego was a massive success, and Justin is excited to bring this spectacular show to his Las Vegas fans as soon as possible.

"The rescheduled date for Las Vegas will be Tuesday, June 28. Tickets for the original show will be honored. Refunds available at point of purchase."

However, it is unknown whether Hailey’s condition was Covid-19 related.
