Molly-Mae Hague slams toxic Twitter as she shares hardest time of her life

Molly-Mae Hague says she plans to delete her Twitter account as she says how she's going through the hardest period of her life.

In an honest video shared on the star's YouTube channel, the beauty mogul, 22, opened up about the concerns she has about her wellbeing as she expressed the vulnerable state she's in caused by social media and the burglary of her apartment in October.

In the 14-minute YouTube video, Love Island star Molly-Mae can be see demonstrating a make-up routing whilst talking about her emotional wellbeing.

The star labels the social networking app Twitter as "the most toxic and horrendous platform" and admitted to deleting the app from her phone.

She says: "Ever since entering this new life that I've got now and in the past couple of years, and everything that's changed, I just think Twitter is the most toxic and horrendous platform, like, ever."

"I think maybe in a few days I might just delete my whole account, which is so sad because I do love it. But it just doesn't do anything for me."

The influencer added that her partner and fellow Love Island 2019 star Tommy Fury shares similar feelings about the micro-blogging app.

Molly added: "It doesn't do anything for Tommy. It's just not a good platform, especially at the moment.

"Right now, I've been going through the hardest period of my entire life.

She said: "I've been dealing with emotions that I've never experienced before. I've been having a massive battle with anxiety recently, which I did mention in my Let's Talk video."

The star added that she's suffering from a high level of anxiety after a frightening robbery at her home in Manchester left her feeling vulnerable.

"It was without a doubt the worst thing that's ever happened to me, to us, I'd probably say." she says.

Molly continued: "It was just awful, horrendous, terrible. So we have been dealing with a lot.

She added: "But I think seeing a lot of things on social media and seeing a lot of people's opinions about why we were robbed, I started to feel like, god, was this my fault?"

"Do I share too much? Did I do the wrong thing?"
