BBC Breakfast’s usual format underwent a shake-up over Sunday (January 15) as regular presenter Roger Johnson was missing from his usual spot on the signature red couch.

The newsreader usually joins Nina Warhurst on a Sunday morning but this week the beloved presenter was replaced by Rachel Burden, who stepped in for the show.

While Roger’s absence is not yet known, the blonde bombshell has finally returned to the BBC One morning show after taking a break to focus on her weekday radio show on BBC Radio 5 Live.

But she wasn’t alone as the 47-year-old broadcaster presenter welcomed viewers back to the show alongside her stunning co-host Nina Warhurst where they discussed the latest news headlines.

And it appears as though viewers were happy with the change in presenting roles, as fans flooded to Twitter to share a wave of fire emojis shortly after Rachel was introduced on the show.

But she's not the only presenter who wowed fans with their beauty, after meteorologist Carol Kirkwood shocked fans with an old snap of the blonde bombshell in her youth.
