Britain’s Got Talent’s final is much later than usual as the semi-finals had to be delayed because of the pandemic. While the auditions were shown earlier this year, the next stage of the competition did not start on ITV until last month. Now, the time is near for viewers to find out who this year’s winner is.

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Britain’s Got Talent.

Britain’s Got Talent fans were able to see the entirety of the auditions before the series went on a hiatus for several months.

The contest then returned but unlike previous years, the semi-finals were pre-recorded and there has been no live audience.

Instead, viewers have been seen on a giant wall of screens, cheering on their favourite acts.

Social distancing guidelines have been part of other areas of the show as well.

Some of the larger acts haven’t been able to perform live so have had to pre-record their performances.

The judges’ normal desk has also been swapped for four separate and much smaller tables.

Presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have had their usual side-by-side banter as they are in a bubble together.

The pair revealed this week they have had to take the test for coronavirus every four days to make sure they are healthy enough to present.

What time is the BGT 2020 final?

The grand finale will be airing this evening, Saturday, October 10.

BGT 2020’s final is going to begin at 7.30pm on ITV and will air for two hours and 45 minutes.

Tonight’s show is not going to be entirely live as all of the finalists have already filmed their last performances and will be shown via the big screen.

However, Ant and Dec will be live from the studio when they reveal who the winner is of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent.

So far, viewers only know half of the finalists who are going to be performing tonight.

These will be comedian Steve Royle, dancers Aaron and Jasmine, magician Magical Bones, comedy singer Jon Courtenay and comedian Nabil Abdul Rashid.

The judges picked their favourite acts from each semi-final and it has been up to the public to vote their own winner as well.

Voting has now closed for this part of the show as all 10 finalists have been chosen.

BGT will reveal the other five finalists in tonight’s show.

As well as the acts themselves, there are also going to be some exciting guest performances.

The companies of Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera and Mary Poppins will all be performing.

Following seven months of total shutdown, 60 performers will be gathering together for a West End extravaganza.

These include Michael Ball, Carrie Hope Fletcher, John Owen-Jones, Matt Lucas, Shan Ako, Killian Donnelly, Zizi Strallen and Charlie Stemp.

Britain’s Got Talent 2020 final will start at 7.30pm tonight, Saturday, October 10, on ITV.
