Dancing on Ice star Christopher Dean appeared to make a snarky remark at the studio audience after they shared their reaction to Mollie Gallagher and Sylvain Longchambon's low scores.

Coronation Street stat Mollie strutted her stuff on the ice as she took part in a cheerleading inspired routine to Lizzo's hit song 2 Be Loved.

But Mollie's nervousness seemed to get the better of her this week and this was reflected in the judges scores who all gave her 6.5.

Although the audience were clearly behind Mollie as they gave each judge a boo for their marks, professional figure skater Christopher decided to hit back.

Sharing his thoughts, he chimed: "Nice to know so many experts in here."

But viewers at home picked up on Chris' remarks and headed over to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One social media user wrote: "Chris the Expert! Don't like being booed, boo boo."

Another penned: "Hey Chris! People are encouraged to boo or cheer! It's light entertainment. Nobody truthfully gives a f**k."

While a third chimed in and said: "Well that was a sarcastic comment there from Chris."

But this wasn't the only thing that appeared to rub viewers the wrong way.

While critiquing Mollie, Chris also mentioned if she would be up for doing the infamous headbanger move next week.
