Hollyoaks’ Donna-Marie Quinn (Lucy-Jo Hudson) appears to have something of a penchant for learning the truth about other residents’ secret dalliances!
She discovered that James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) almost had sex with ex John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) a couple of weeks ago, after overhearing a private conversation.
And now, she is set to learn all about her son Romeo’s (Owen Warner) night of passion with local landlady and soap icon Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe)!
But how?
Well, Donna-Marie is desperate to get back in her son’s good books in upcoming scenes, after she successfully convinced Juliet (Niamh Blackshaw) to give her another chance.
Romeo invites Jules to his surprise birthday party, and Donna-Marie attempts to invite herself. Her plan, however, backfires.
Juliet, feeling sorry for her mum, gives her an idea to win him over.
Donna-Marie therefore scrambles to sort out a last-minute gift for her son, after her original surprise falls through.
James, meanwhile, offers her some advice, and soon enough she realises that the gift is not the most important thing.
Her attention is soon diverted elsewhere, however, as she sits outside The Dog and gets into a fight with Goldie (Chelsee Healey)!
A heated argument ensues, and caught up in the intensity of it all, Goldie end up revealing that Romeo slept with Mercedes!
Viewers will know that Goldie discovered Mercy and Romeo’s sex secret after she overheard an intimate conversation between the pair last month.
Donna-Marie, meanwhile, is taken aback by this revelation.
The question is: what will she do with this information?
