EastEnders fans distracted by orange juice ‘gaffe’ as Sharon plots to kill Ian

EastEnders fans watched Sharon and Phil Mitchell continue on their mission to kill Ian Beale, but viewers were distracted as they noticed a perplexing gaffe.

Sharon and Phil have been plotting to murder Ian after discovering he locked their late son Denny in a room on the boat before it sunk.

Discussing their plans in the Queen Vic, Phil gave Sharon drugs to end Ian's life.

While Ian watched on behind them, Sharon asked Phil: "Orange juice?"

He replied: "Yeah, ta."

Sharon whispered to Phil: "He's watching."

Then Phil sneakily placed a five-pound note on the table with a bag of white powder underneath.

He said: "When you doing it?", to which Sharon answered: "Tonight".

However, fans were gobsmacked over the price of the orange juice, with many remarking it was far too expensive.

One said: "A fiver for orange juice", with three laughing emojis.

While another wrote: "It's never a fiver for an orange juice in the Vic surely?!"

"Fiver for an orange juice?? Crikey", penned a third.

Another remarked: "Expensive orange juice that".

A fourth questioned: "£5 for a warm bottle of orange juice?"

"Phil just paid £5 for that orange juice and never got change", said another viewer.

Max Branning recently exposed Sharon's murderous plans to Ian, but he didn't believe him.

Sharon has been the only one looking after Ian and he's been getting seriously ill.

Max is convinced she's trying to kill him after discovering Ian's involvement with Denny's death.

Ian told him: "Someone's trying to kill me", to which Max replied: "I think it could be Sharon."

Will Sharon and Phil murder Ian soon? Fans will have to wait and see in upcoming episodes.

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
