EastEnders star Louisa Lytton, who gave birth to daughter Aura last year, has posted a video on her Instagram of her getting a fabulous new hairstyle. And she reveals that being a mum was what gave her the confidence to change her look.
‘I call this the ‘Don’t F with me, I made a whole human being’ chop 💇🏻♀️’ she says. ‘Being a mum finally gave me the confidence to sit in @avahollandhair chair and say I need a change, something for me.’
The video shows the whole process as Louisa’s hair is cut shorter and layered. She looks delighted with the finished result, and her EastEnders co-stars are lining up to approve of the new look.

Louisa also shared an adorable video of Aura on her first birthday, enjoying making a mess with a cake cake, balloons and riding in a little car.
Louisa played Ruby Allen on EastEnders before leaving to go on maternity leave. Ruby was taken away by the police on drugs charges after Martin realised she’d been lying to him about everything.
Louisa recently married fiancé Ben Bhanvra in Italy, after being forced to postpone the wedding several times due to the Covid 19 pandemic, and because of the arrival of baby Aura.
She recently said that she isn’t sure whether she will return to EastEnders. ‘Now that I’ve had a baby, that’s the priority,’ she told The Sun, adding that being a mum keeps her so busy she doesn’t even have time to watch TV.
