EMMERDALE fans were left disgusted as Vinny Dingle disowns mum Mandy for refusing to organise Paul Ashdale’s funeral.
Vinny has been living in denial about Paul’s abuse after he died in the dramatic wedding day barn explosion.

And in tonight’s episode, Vinny continued to push his mum Mandy away as she tried to get him to see the truth about Paul’s violent nature.
Returning home from hospital, Vinny was horrified to see Liv and told her: “I don’t want to see you, alright, I thought I made that clear.”
Turning to Mandy, he glowered and said: “Or you Mandy.”
Realising Vinny was disowning her, she gasped: “Mandy. What’s happened to mum?”
Mandy then told Vinny that the coroner’s office had called and that they were planning to release Paul’s body the following day.
Mandy added: “I told them it was none of our concern and they can do what they want with him.”
“Not our concern? Give me the number. He’s my dad and he deserves a decent funeral,” Vinny said.
At that Mandy stormed off but the fight wasn’t over yet and later, as Vinny spoke about the funeral arrangements, Mandy piped up again.
“You don’t have to do this. You’ve just had surgery sweetheart you need to rest,” she said.
“Well help me out then. Start making some phone calls. The money you were going to marry, and you won’t even organise his funeral,” Vinny said.
“How can I, knowing what he’s done to you?” Mandy asked.
Vinny protested: “He didn’t do anything to me. Apart from love me.”
But Mandy was having none of it and told him: “Vinny will you open your eyes. He was nothing but a liar, a gambler, an abuser. He was pure evil. He doesn’t even deserve a funeral. Can you not see how messed up this is?”
As Vinny got up and stormed off, he told her: “I’m going to celebrate dad’s life the way he’d have wanted me to. And I don’t want you anywhere near him.”
Emmerdale viewers were devastated for Mandy.
One said: "The way vinny calling mandy by her name instead of “mum” has just shattered my heart #emmerdale."
Another added: "Will Vinny and Mandy ever get back from this?#Emmerdale."
A third chimed in: "Come on Vinny open you eyes speak the truth. You need to let Liv and Mandy in #Emmerdale."
