Emmerdale viewers have watched Graham Foster (played by Andrew Scarborough) fall out with various well-known characters this week as the whodunnit plot has continued to unfold. Tonight (January 23), saw Pierce Harris (Jonathan Paul Wrather) make a shock return as he attacked Graham, leaving fans of the ITV soap in uproar.
Graham has left Emmerdale with more enemies than friends as he made a dramatic exit from the ITV soap, with several residents having a clear motive.
One person who was firmly on his side was partner Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry), who he was planning to flee the Dales with this evening.
However, ITV viewers know Graham will never get to leave the village after he is tragically murdered.
It was beloved girlfriend Rhona’s abusive ex-husband Pierce who was shown killing Graham at the end of tonight’s double bill in a huge twist.

The first part of this evening’s explosive flash-forward episode showed Graham clashing with Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale) and husband Jamie (Alexander Lincoln).
It looked as though Jamie had killed Graham in the first part of the episode as he appeared to run him over with Andrea also acting suspiciously.
The end of this evening’s two-parter saw Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) become furious with Graham after he accused him of taking over his life.
He has previously left ex Rhona shocked as he tried to make a move on her when the pair reminisced over old times.
She then revealed to Marlon she would be taking his son Leo away to France with her and Graham.
He pleaded with her not to take him, but she refused to back down, leaving him devastated.
As the spotlight remained on Marlon, it was, in fact, Pierce who delivered the killer blow to Graham.
Fans were left furious after the revelation and took to Twitter to react to Pierce’s return to the village.

Earlier this month, Rhona mentioned her ex was up for parole as he was due to be released from prison.
Pierce was originally on the soap between 2016 and 2017 as he embarked on a relationship with Rhona after his wife Tess was hit by a car, and killed.
Things took a turn as he became controlling towards Rhona and attacked her on their wedding day back in 2017.
It’s clear Pierce is back to get revenge, and Rhona is sure to be rocked if she comes face to face with her ex, could she be in huge danger?
