Five BBC EastEnders theories: poison plot, exes reunite and murder revenge | The Sun

SOAP fans have been concerned for Suki Panesar as she appears to face a harrowing health ordeal.

EastEnders viewers shared their wildest theories about all the drama unfolding – and one ties in with the upcoming festive whodunnit.

1. Vile poison plot

Suki Panesar (played by Balvinder Sopal) has been put through the wringer in recent months but her health is clearly on the line.

However, Suki has been known for her twisted lies particularly as she once claimed to be suffering from terminal cancer and fans are now struggling to believe her.

"Suki has a history of feigning illness, like faking cancer, but perhaps this time her ailment is genuine and won't be taken seriously", one viewer commented on X aka Twitter.

Another theorised she could be expecting a baby: "Suki is constantly ill. Are the writers going to make her pregnant."

But one soap viewer quickly disagreed with the theory: "The rumours about Suki being pregnant should be dismissed right away; it's unlikely because it doesn't make sense. There are other health issues a female character can face that aren't related to pregnancy."

Another fan of the London-based program speculated there'd be a dark twist ahead for Suki as she could have been poisoned by her controlling husband Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry).

"There's a possibility that Nish might be poisoning her. This would be another instance contributing to the psychological and mental abuse", they penned.

One fan responded: "Omg it would make so much sense that Nish is poisoning her. How is she always so sick? There's no other possibility I feel."

2. Brutal revenge

Meanwhile, Eve Unwin has recently found out what really happened to her sister after Caz rocked up the Square and her behaviour is becoming a cause for concern.

The fan favourite portrayed by Heather Peace was most recently thrown out of her home by Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).

But could she spiral out of control?

Coming up, Suki Panesar is concerned to find Eve sleeping rough on a bench after getting drunk all night.

Following a heart-to-heart about her sister’s death, Eve and Suki head to the police station to share new information on the case.

However, Eve is infuriated to be told that Caz has served her time and the case is now closed.

Eve heads to The Albert and drinks herself into oblivion while Suki enlists Stacey Slater’s help to track her down, completely unaware she's leaving Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis) infuriated.

When Stacey learns the truth about Eve’s sister’s death, she panics when Felix Baker (Matthew Morrison) reveals she left to go and meet Caz.

It's soon revealed that Eve has met Caz outside the Albert.

Could she do something she may regret to avenge her sister?

3. Theo prepares murder

This remains to be seen but this hasn't stopped viewers of the London-based drama to speculate Theo may come up with a revenge plan of his own as he tries to get Stacey all to himself.

The school teacher managed to get Eve kicked out of her home in recent scenes of the long-running show, leaving fans wondering how Stacey can be so blinded to his tricks.

This week, when Stacey takes a shaken Caz back to No.31 to try and diffuse the situation following Eve's actions, Caz is spooked again.

Once alone with Caz, Theo decides to take advantage of the situation to fulfil his own goals by encouraging Caz to go to the police in the hope of getting Eve out of the picture once and for all.

But Suki overhears and quickly interrupts the conversation.

Caz makes excuses for the bathroom, but it’s not long before Suki discovers she’s left for the police station.

Could Theo take things even further and plan to get rid of Eve altogether?

4. Alfie's Christmas whodunnit link

Elsewhere in the Square, Alfie Moon's (Shane Richie) health hassles continue this week.

Luckily for him, he finds a surprising form of support as Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) steps up to help him.

Coming up, Phil invites Alfie for a kick about with the boys in an attempt to get him to open up.

Alfie remains evasive about his upcoming MRI, but Phil reminds him that he needs to take his health seriously for his kids by sharing that other kids on the Square like Lexi Pearce don’t have the privilege of two parents.

Later on, Phil continues to put pressure on Alfie and shares that he is going to get his prostate checked as his own father Eric died of prostate cancer.

Could this help Alfie face the music?

Soap bosses have confirmed Alfie will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in upcoming weeks and fans at home have predicted this could be the trigger to another reconciliation between him and Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace).

Surprisingly, this theory is closely linked to the upcoming Christmas whodunnit, teased early this year.

According to viewers, Phil is likely to marry Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) due to the breakdown of her own relationship with Keanu Taylor.

Sharon was seen wearing a wedding dress in a grisly flashforward and fans believed they spotted hints she could be involved in a Mitchell wedding.

"I imagine they'll want Phil to be a potential groom for Sharon and with it being Phil and Kat's date, I'm guessing they'll break up around November", one viewer speculated.

One fan went even further and shared who they believe could be getting killed during the festive season: "Before Phil gets killed in the Vic at Christmas.”

"I knew Alfie’s story was gonna go in this direction. This is defo gonna bring Kat and Alfie back together. It will be more of that unconditional love rather than a love affair", another added.

5. Unexpected new couple

Speaking of surprising couples, Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) is slowly exploring her romantic potential with Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) who has been smitten with her since her first arrival in the Square.

But with Peter Beale due to return to Walford this week, as he finds out Anna and Gina are his half-sisters, Bobby's hopes for romance could be dashed for good.

Viewers have expected Anna to turn to Freddie Slater but another contender for her affections may make themselves known – Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris).

"Am I overthinking or is there something possibly there?", one Reddit user asked when thinking about both women coming together.

Bernie recently celebrated her 21st birthday with Freddie challenging her to get 21 kisses for the occasion.

Much like Bobby, Bernie has made it clear she's keen on Anna – but could it be mutual?
