Holly Willoughby fans shocked as Stephen Mulhern kisses her FIVE times on the lips in throwback to kids TV in the 00’s

HOLLY Willoughby fans have been left shocked by a throwback clip of Stephen Mulhern kissing her FIVE times on the lips as they hosted children's TV together.

The pair presented Holly & Stephen's Saturday Showdown – previously called Ministry of Mayhem – between January 2004 and July 2006.

In the unearthed footage, which was uploaded to TikTok, Holly – now 39 – is dressed in a sexy Santa Claus outfit for one of the programme's festive specials.

The strapless red dress has a white fur trim and black buckle belt around the waist, with Holly's blonde hair styled into choppy layers.

Stephen, now 43, is dressed in a red Christmas jumper and gives Holly a gift, explaining: "Here's the deal, if you open it you must wear it for the whole show."

She agrees, and is giddy with excitement as she rips open the present to find a green Christmas hat with mistletoe attached to it.

Holly squeals: "Hurray for me! I can kiss all of the boys in the world all of the time."

To the tune of Deck The Halls she then sings: "It is the season to kiss Holly fa la la la la", but when her fellow presenter kisses her on the lips she exclaims: "No! Stephen, you don't count!"

He argues: "What do you mean I don't count? Whoever you are under the mistletoe with you must kiss," kissing her again before he shouts: "Happy Christmas!"

Holly pouts as she turns her back to him, joking: "Don't wear my lips out, I am going to be kissing Anthony from Blue soon."

But Stephen kisses her again, and then two more times later in the show – with Holly finally ripping the hat off and telling him: "Right, that does it!

"I am taking this off – and you are definitely on the naughty list."

Fans were stunned by the video, with one commenting: "Wow, how young do they look here?!"

Another added: "God, he would never be allowed to do that now!"

A third agreed: "This was a different day and age."

One more wrote: "Hahaha holy s**t, this wouldn't be allowed now for so many reasons."

Over fourteen years since their Saturday morning show ended, Holly and Stephen are still good friends – and remain ITV favourites, with Holly hosting This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield since 2009.

Meanwhile, Stephen presents various game shows and spin-off programmes for the channel.
