KATIE Price's ex husband Kieran Hayler has opened up about his thoughts on her new boyfriend, Carl Woods.
The former stripper shared his thoughts on his ex wife's new love and called it 'intense'.
The previous couple share two children together, Jett, 7, and Bunny, 6, and he told the Daily Star online: "Like, it is what it. You know how it is with Kate.
"It is always intense but, yeah you know, at the end of the day I need to her to be happy as I want my children to be happy.
"If she is happy then they are happy and then I am happy. You know, it is what it is.
"We will always be tied to one another because of the children, whereas people like Kris [Boyson] can fade away into the background as they never had children and they weren't married.
"We will always be mentioned together but we have both moved on now. I want her to be happy and I'm sure she will still want me to be happy. That is it really."
Conversation is limited to the children, now. He explained: "To be honest we talk only about the kids and that is it. Her life is her life and my life is my life now.
"We talk about the things we need to talk about and the kids but other than that actually there is no reason for us to have a conversation.
"I think it will be the same with her and Pete. They don't need to talk about their lives away from the kids."
The pair officially split in March 2018 after five years of marriage, and 33-year-old Kieran has also moved on with fiancée Michelle Penticost.
The Sun Online revealed that after more than two years of waiting, final papers were filed recently.
A source explained: "Both Katie and Kieran are keen to move on, and after all the paperwork, it's finally happening this week.
"Timing couldn't be better for Katie – she's now free to marry Carl."
Although the pair only started dating earlier this year, the romance has been a whirlwind – with Katie gushing over the hunk being a dedicated "carer" after she broke both feet over the summer and was left unable to walk.
However, Katie is no stranger to fast-paced relationships, and she shocked fans in 2013 when she married Kieran just two months after they met.
It was the star's third marriage, having previously wed Alex Reid and Peter Andre.
Her marriage to Kieran was dogged with cheating allegations throughout, and when heartbroken Katie discovered Kieran had been having sex with their children's nanny all over the house in 2018 she dumped him for good.
Together, the pair share six-year-old Jett and five-year-old Bunny, with Katie also mum to 15-year-old Junior and 13-year-old Princess from her marriage to Peter, and 18-year-old Harvey – whose estranged dad is Dwight Yorke.
Last month, The Sun Online revealed that Katie had asked her team to rush the divorce through so that she was free to tie the knot with Carl.
Meanwhile, Kieran popped the question to girlfriend Michelle in March of this year after getting down on one knee in the Maldives.
They first went public with their romance in July 2018 after meeting at their children's school.
