SCARLETT Moffatt felt so lonely after winning I'm A Celebrity that she used to sit in Camden Market with a book hoping strangers would talk to her.
The ex-jungle queen had quit Gogglebox and moved to London five years ago at the height of her fame.
Scarlett, 30, said she'd often have only her dog Bonnie for company, as she explained: "I just felt so lost and lonely.
"It was such a hard time and I felt really guilty for feeling sad, because I thought, ‘God, I’ve just won one of the biggest reality shows in the UK’."
Struggling to make friends and living alone, the Geordie native added: "I used to take Bonnie for a walk and sit in Camden Market, knowing people would come up for a chat.
"A lot of the time if I wasn’t working, I’d just be on my own with my dog.
"Obviously to my friends and family back home I’d pretend I was living the dream because I didn’t want them to be worried, but I’d go and sit in Camden Market with a book and people would come over and I’d have a chat.
"It’s sad that, isn’t it? I don’t think I’ve ever told anyone that before. It makes me sound really sad."
Ex-Gogglebox star Scarlett spoke about her darkest days on the Comfort Eating podcast, admitting the trolling she received following I'm A Celeb was such a shock to the system that she "didn't want to be here".
She added: "I’d just never been bombarded with that amount of hate before.
"It even felt worse than when I was at school. At least when I was at school I could make jokes about it and stuff, but I just felt like – not necessarily that I didn’t want to be here any more forever, but I just didn’t want to be here for a little bit, until things died down."
The TV star spoke touched on her school days saying they were "really difficult" and she even had to be let out ten minutes early so she wouldn’t "get beaten up" by bullies.
Scarlett eventually moved back up to the North East to be closer to family and is now living in a beautiful home with her policeman partner Scott Dobinson.
She now feels settled with Scott, saying: "I was starting to give up (on finding a man) a little bit. I was starting to think, 'Oh, maybe there’s just none left. Maybe I’ve missed the boat.'
"But I’m so pleased that he’s come in me life because he’s made us trust again, which… it’s took a long time."
