An inside source revealed to the Mirror that boxer Nicola Adams will be swapping the ring for the Strictly ballroom for this year’s show.
But what’s even more exciting is that Adams is reportedly going to be the first person who will compete as part of a same-sex couple in the show’s 16-year history.
Talking about the news, the source said: “It’s such an exciting step for us to be taking, and many feel it is well overdue.
“It’s been talked about for so long, to see it finally happen feels truly ground-breaking and quite emotional.”
