Former contestants of RuPaul’s Drag Race Jinkx Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme are bringing back their live holiday show for a fourth season.

Who are Jinkx Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme?
Fans of RuPaul’s Drag Race recognize Monsoon as the winner of season 5 of the popular television show. Monsoon defeated 13 other drag queens in categories including dancing, acting, singing, sewing, and more to earn the crown and the title of the next drag superstar.
Monsoon was inspired to audition for the show by Sharon Needles, the previous season’s winner, because Needles is another high-concept, character-driven drag queen. Monsoon’s show highlights include impersonating Edith Bouvier Beale in the “Snatch Game” episode, and an iconic lip-synch performance to “Malambo No. 1.”
BenDeLaCreme appeared on the show after Monsoon, competing in season 6. She earned fifth place and the title of Miss Congeniality. BenDeLaCreme later appeared on season 3 of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars. After winning a record-breaking five challenges, she eliminated herself, claiming she had already proven herself and that she felt the other remaining contestants wanted the crown more than she did.
Jinkx Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme started their holiday show in 2018
Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme first collaborated on a Christmas-themed show back in 2018. The title of the 2018 show was “To Jesus, Thanks for Everything,” followed by “All I Want for Christmas Is Attention” in 2019.
Their performances caught the eye of writer and director Clea DuVall, who wrote small parts for the queens in her 2020 LGBTQIA+ holiday rom-com Happiest Season starring Kristen Stewart.
The drag duo has announced their return this holiday season
“After a year in captivity, Jinkx and I are bustin’ at the seams and rarin’ to go! Waiting for Santa is nothing compared to the excitement I feel to be back in theaters, sharing the holidays with the chosen family we’ve collected around the globe!” said BenDeLaCreme of the 2021 tour.
Monsoon added, “I’m thrilled to be back on tour with my sister DeLa, celebrating the holidays the way I was meant to: boozed up, bawdy, and on display!”
The show was entirely produced, directed, and written by the two queens and will also be the biggest run of the shows to date, including international performances. Fans can expect to see Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme perform comedy, new songs, and Christmas classics. The tour starts November 13 in the United Kingdom before the remaining 25 scheduled performances in Europe, Canada, and the United States throughout the end of 2021.
