Strictly Come Dancing 2019: ‘Give me a minute’ Shirley Ballas hits out at audience

David James and Nadiya Bychkova performed the Paso Doble on tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing but the pair didn’t receive particularly positive feedback from the judges. When Tess Daly asked Shirley Ballas what she thought of the dance, the head judge began by pointing out what she didn’t like before offering up advice on the BBC show.

However the audience weren’t pleased with her critique and booed the head judge.

Shirley advised: “Let me try and give you some advice as you move forward this Paso Doble is like having a conversation, your conservation is very much…

“Hello, how are you, it’s nice to see you, I’m doing all the steps correctly,” Shirley whispered.

The Strictly judge was interrupted by the audience booing before she exclaimed: “Give me a minute!”

She continued: “But if you could… put your arms up with intention and give it some energy. I think you’ll go forward.”
