Strictly legend to make shock return to the dance floor tonight – and fans can't wait | The Sun

STRICTLY legend Tony Adams will dance once more tonight in the 2022 final.

The former footballer was the seventh celebrity to be eliminated from the competition last month.

His eye-popping Full Monty routine went down in Strictly history after it boosted Strictly’s viewing figures to more than 8.3 million in week 3.

And Strictly host Claudia Winkleman revealed he'll take part in a group number with the 2022 cast on finale day.

She chatted to the Arsenal legend and his dance partner Katya Jones on her Radio 2 show today and said: "You are the star of it Tony.

"Don’t tell the four finalists I said that, but basically we’ve renamed it, ‘the Tony Is Back show.’

She also asked him how he felt about coming back, after he dramatically quit due to injury and missed out on a place at Blackpool's prestigious Tower Ballroom.

Tony said: "I got a little bit of PTSD … 'oh no I’ve got to dance again!'

"No, it’s great."

Katya jumped in: "I can tell you that he still can’t dance!"
