Strictly’s Craig Revel Horwood should be AXED from the judging panel as the show ‘doesn’t need Mr Nasty’, says ex pro James Jordan – The Sun

STRICTLY Come Dancing's Craig Revel Horwood should be axed from the show says former professional dancer James Jordan.

Craig was left red-faced last night after mocking Anton Du Beke's 'comedy' teeth – not realising they were REAL.

And now James says the BBC show no longer needs "Mr Nasty".

"The show doesn't need Craig. He should go," James told The Daily Star.

"If Craig was gone they wouldn't notice any difference at all.

"The viewers wouldn't miss him either. No-one would miss him."

Both Len Goodman and Darcey Bussell have quit the judging panel in recent years.

And James think if they show can decide without them – it can cope with losing Craig.

"Len was a much bigger personality than Craig and the show is still huge without him.

"So it would still be a big success.

"Strictly will always be a juggernaut of a show no matter who you have on there. The format just works."

In August, James was tipped to replace Jason Gardiner on Dancing On Ice.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star is famed for his sharp tongue and straight talking attitude, even after he left Strictly in 2014.

Last year, he branded winner Stacey Dooley's final performance on Strictly a "complete mess".

He appeared on DOI as a contestant in the last series – and won the crown – but now he could be back to make moves on the judging panel.

He is now the favourite with bookies at 3/1 to take Jason's place on the show.

A source close to James told The Sun Onine: "It's unlikely to happen although he'd love the role."

James walked away from Strictly when they offered him "a reduced role" on the show and lashed out at the BBC for their 'false' statement about his departure.

At the time, a Strictly spokesperson had said: "James Jordan was offered a role still on [Strictly Come Dancing].
"It wasn’t to be partnered with a celebrity, but it was to be involved in specials such as Children in Need, that sort of thing.

"But he declined that. He was offered a reduced role on the show."

James was pretty vocal about how his relationship with the show came to an end.

Following the Beeb's announcement, he tweeted: "Yes, it's true I WILL NOT be returning to 'BURN THE FLOOR'…. Sorry, I mean 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
