Watch moment Amanda Holden says she’ll never make-up with Phillip Schofield after This Morning feud in unearthed clip | The Sun

AMANDA Holden revealed she was ghosted by Phillip Schofield in 2019 after she tried to end their This Morning feud.

The TV star said she wanted to meet Phillip, 61, in a bid to clear the air after he was rumoured to have branded her "difficult to manage" on set.

The Britain's Got Talent judge had been tipped to stand in for Holly Willoughby on This Morning during her time away hosting I'm A Celebrity in 2018.

But Amanda said she was passed over in favour of Phil's first choice, Rochelle Humes.

A former daytime TV executive told The Sun at the time: "Phillip actively campaigned for Rochelle to get the job despite Amanda being more experienced — and having been told privately she’d got the gig."

Amanda later confirmed their feud to co-host Jamie Theakston on their Heart Radio Breakfast show – and insisted they'll never reconcile.

In the unearthed clip, that has been doing the rounds after Phil was axed from This Morning, Amanda says: "I've moved on from it, Jamie, you need to move on from it."

He replies: "You might have moved on but I just wanted to know, is there any more to the story?"

She then reveals: "I did offer to meet him for a coffee months ago, he didn't reply to my text. What can I say?"

Jamie pushes again: "The olive branch had been extended."

"Oh, yes," Amanda replies.

Referring to the famous photo of Katy Perry and Taylor Swift after they'd resolved their feud, Jamie asks Amanda if there will be a 'burger and fries moment' – but Amanda says "no".

Taylor and Katy were mates until they fell out over Katy reportedly swiping Taylor's backing dancers.

However, they publicly put their feud to bed in Taylor's music video You Need To Calm Down, with Katy dressing as a burger and Taylor dressing as fries.

The Sun first revealed Amanda believed Phil was behind her missing out on the coveted This Morning job — despite Amanda stepping in numerous times before.

A source said: "Amanda was so excited when she learnt she had secured the role. She is ITV’s golden girl and has always been a firm favourite with This Morning.

"So she was shocked when she was taken out to lunch by ITV executives who told her that unfortunately they couldn’t follow through with the offer.

"During the lunch they let slip they thought the decision had been heavily influenced by Phil and that he had thrown a spanner in the works.

"Their meeting was a few weeks before the news broke that Rochelle would be covering for Holly – and Amanda was understandably upset."
