Kate Garraway reaches ‘final straw’ in isolation before Christmas

Kate Garraway sent a plea for help after her TV and WiFi service suddenly stopped working and admitted it feels like her ‘final straw’.

The Good Morning Britain presenter is currently in self-isolation with her children, Darcey and Billy, as they hope to see their husband and father Derek Draper in hospital over the Christmas period.

Derek, 53, has been in hospital since March battling a severe case of coronavirus but his family’s hopes of visiting him are in limbo due to London being plunged into tier four.

Reaching the end of her tether, Kate, 53, tweeted Sky TV to complain about their service after trying to reach them for three days due to her TV and WiFi experiencing technical difficulties.

She wrote: ‘Hi@skytv- I really hate to do this but can’t get through to anyone on phone for last 3 days- am sure you are frantic – but please can someone get in touch . We have no tv or WiFi for kids & me not having that in isolation over Xmas feels like final straw.’

Sky promptly replied: ‘Hi @kategarraway can you message us and we will try to help?’

A Sky spokesperson also told Metro.co.uk: ‘We’re sorry to hear of the issues Kate is facing, we’ve contacted her so our teams can offer their support.’

The I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star recently revealed that her husband of 15 years briefly opened his eyes in a breakthrough moment.
