Scarlett Moffatt has revealed the incredible before and after transformation of her teeth after having her veneers replaced earlier this year.

In a post shared to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, the Gogglebox star showed her followers how much of a difference there was in her teeth.

Panning the camera over two snaps of her veneers, the 30 year old spoke of her struggles and explained that her issue mostly had to do with her gums.

"My gums were so sore. This gap doesn't look that big, but it was getting worse. The teeth were all wonky at the bottom. But it was mostly the gums. Whenever I smiled, I felt like I was just all gums," she said.

Scarlett was sure to thank the clinic responsible for fixing her smile, admitting: "This is why I'm constantly smiling."

This isn't the first time the television personality has spoken of her struggles with her smile.

She has previously admitted she was "picked on" at school because of how her teeth looked following a bike accident.

"One of the big things I used to get picked on was my teeth because I was in a bike accident when I was little and smashed my two front teeth," she said.

Scarlett continued: "This, unfortunately, carried on into adulthood, being in the public eye sometimes isn't fun."

Since becoming a star, Scarlett has also been subjected to cruel trolls who have targeted her appearance.

In a recent interview on Lorraine, she said that the trolling affected her so badly after she won I'm A Celebrity that she wanted surgery to make her nose bigger.

Scarlett said she finally decided to call the Samaritans when she froze at her front door one day and found herself unable to leave the house, pretending to family and friends that she was away filming when actually she spent the week in bed.
