Superfly Star Kaalan Walker Slapped With 50-Year Prison Sentence in Sexual Assault Case

The 27-year-old actor/ rapper, who also appeared in Halle Berry’s 2017 indie film ‘King’, had three counts of forcible rape, two counts of statutory rape and two counts of rape by intoxication.

AceShowbizKaalan Walker is likely to spend most of the rest of his life in prison if he makes it to his 70s. The Juju depicter in the 2018 crime/action movie “Superfly” has been sentenced to 50 years in prison in his rape case.

The 27-year-old, who also appeared in Halle Berry‘s 2017 indie film “Kings”, was arrested in 2018 for allegedly sexually assaulting 30 women, including an underage girl. He, however, has pleaded not guilty to 6 counts of rape, 2 counts of unlawful intercourse with a minor, and multiple felonies.

Kaalan was eventually convicted on charges brought by three teenage girls and four women. According to a report from the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said that he had “three counts of forcible rape, two counts of statutory rape and two counts of rape by intoxication.”

Superior Court Judge Joseph Brandolino also ordered Kaalan Walker to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, according to Deputy District Attorney Cynthia Wallace, who told City News Service that she believes the defendant is “truly a predator.”
