Having just recently introduced its UPSIDE DOWN SHOELACES lacing system in February, the punk-fueled streetwear imprint 99%IS- has expanded the range with brighter hues.
Drawn from South Korean designer Bajowoo‘s personal style, the unique functional lacing option is secured upside down as a way of expressing a rebellious spirit. Speaking about the release, Bajowoo revealed the inspiration came from his preference tying from the bottom to go against what he was told to do as a child.
The second drop of the lacing system comes in “Blue,” “Pink,” “Beige” and “Orange” with logo-engraved toggle stoppers and signature badge.
Priced at ₩57,000 KRW (approximately $50 USD), new colorways of UPSIDE DOWN ATT1%TUDE SHOELACES are available now on 99%IS-’s website and at GR8.
