Can Trisha Yearwood Remember All of Her Own Song Lyrics?

Trisha Yearwood has had a busy year. Aside from being the cover star of SheKnows’ latest digital issue, Season to Celebrate, Yearwood also released her newest cookbook, Trisha’s Kitchen: Easy Comfort Food for Friends and Family, and starred in the 17th season of her hit Food Network show, Trisha’s Southern Kitchen. We were lucky enough to sit down with the Grammy award-winning country music superstar and New York Times best-selling cookbook author last month and aside from chatting about the holidays (which you can read all about here!) and her marriage to fellow musician Garth Brooks, we wanted to play a fun game with Trisha to really put her song lyric knowledge to the test.

Our mission at SheKnows is to empower and inspire women, and we only feature products we think you’ll love as much as we do. Please note that if you purchase something by clicking on a link within this story, we may receive a small commission of the sale.

We came up with a little game called Trisha or Not where we would read song lyrics to Yearwood and ask her to guess if they were her own lyrics or if they belonged to someone else. With a music career as long as hers, this was no easy task but you can watch Yearwood play Trisha or Not in the video above to see how she did. And after you’ve watched the video, don’t forget to pick up your copy of Trisha’s Kitchen: Easy Comfort Food for Friends and Family. It’s full of recipes that are perfect for the holidays and would make a great gift for your favorite foodie.
