Hilaria Baldwin details 'really tough' Christmas after family got ill

Hilaria Baldwin has opened up about her holidays, revealing that she found it ‘really tough’ with a full house.

The 38-year-old recently welcomed her seventh child with husband Alec Baldwin, introducing fans to baby girl Ilaria.

They are also parents to Carmen, Rafael, Leonardo, Romeo, Eduardo and Maria – while the 30 Rock actor is dad to Ireland from a previous marriage to Kim Basinger.

However, shedding light on their family celebrations, the Extra star explained that everyone in the household ended up ‘so, so sick’ this year.

Alongside a snap of the newborn looking cosy in an adorable hat, she wrote: ‘Sorry for being so mia…we’ve been so, so sick. It’s been really tough…

‘Take 7 kids who go out and collect germs like they are getting paid for it, then come home and generously plant them in our Petri dish of a house, and the heat goes out in record subzero temps.

‘I know so many of you can unfortunately relate. Love to you and sending healthy, warm wishes to each and every one of you.

‘Can’t wait to fill you in on how our Christmas was…once I get my lungs and voice back.’

Right on cue, fans flooded her post with supportive messages, hoping for a speedy recovery.

‘Hope you all feel better soon! Also hope your heat is back on,’ a follower penned.

‘Oh, so sorry that’s how your holiday vacation went,’ an Instagram user said. Hoping all are feeling 100% better soon!’

Another shared: ‘Oh nooo I hope everyone is on the mend soon!’

‘Sending healing fairy dust and sunshine your way,’ one replied.

As a commenter added: ‘Oh dear, that’s tough to be so sick with 7 little ones over Christmas. Hoping you all feel better soon!’

Hilaria added to her brood with Alec in September, posting an adorable video of baby Ilaria on social media at the end of the month.

However, she has no plans to expand her family in the future, and is wanting her beau to get a vasectomy.

‘I would say that we’re done, but I said we were done with six,’ she told Extra. ‘Yeah, I would say hopefully we’re done.

‘But Alec still has to go and do his part,’ she told the interviewer while miming a snipping action.

‘So if he does not do his part, sometimes things can happen.’
