Off-White™'s Latest Sneaker-Boot Hybrid Plays on Familiar Workwear Cues

Back in December, Virgil Abloh‘s Off-White™ delivered a brand-new silhouette that combined elements of a sneaker with a boot, serving the hybrid footwear option in a militant colorway of black and gray paint splatter. Now, the boot returns for 2021, coming in a Timberland-esque tone of “Honey Yellow/Beige.”

The brown-toned leather uppers sport a similar treatment to the aforementioned black pair, seeing gray splatters spraypainted onto the shoe to give it a construction site-like, pre-worn aesthetic. Furthermore, this pair’s color palette is more cohesive and original all over, featuring metal D-ring eyelets that are also finished in gray with red rope laces running through them.

Elsewhere around the boot, we find a small Off-White™ badge in black and white on the lateral’s rear-quarter, as well as further branding debossed into the rear of the sole unit. That sole unit is another beast of its own, coming in black with more paint splatters and a ridged, wavy outsole.

In true Off-White™ fashion, a marble-themed security tag attached to the foremost eyelet rounds out the pair. Take a look at the Off-White™ sneaker-boot hybrid above, and purchase a pair for yourself from Slam Jam now, where it retails for $1,335 USD.
