Tom Brady Launches Eponymous Fashion Label to Rival Jordan Brand

Tom Brady is appearing to set the groundwork for a life post-football. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback and seven-time Super Bowl champion are embarking on the next phase of his illustrious career, this time in the direction of fashion.

With a simple yet straightforward name, the label, “BRADY” is set to make its debut in December and will consist of a line of activewear and training clothes. The athlete has enlisted Jens Grede, who helped launch Kim Kardashian West‘s Skims empire, as the brand’s CEO and co-founder. Former DKNY designer and cofounder of streetwear label Public School New York, Dao-Yi Chow is also onboard.

More than just an athleisure brand, Grede tells the Wall Street Journal that they hope to build BRADY into the largest namesake sportswear brand, similar to NBA legend Michael Jordan‘s own Jordan Brand. Grede said, “We’re just focused on creating the finest sports brand in the world. That really is the ambition.” Brady hopes that his consumers will be just as eager to sport the new logo as a part of their everyday apparel, similar to that of Jordan’s Jumpman logo.

The first drop of the BRADY is set for December 2021. Check out BRADY online for more information.
