SHOPPERS were left disappointed when Aldi's popular hanging egg chair sold out "within minutes" this morning.
The supermarket relaunched its Gardenline large hanging egg chair today, with a £249.99 price tag.
The Specialbuy – which is not available to purchase in store – went on sale on online at 8am this morning.
There was a virtual queue to access Aldi's website when the chair launched today as eager shoppers tried to get their hands on the coveted garden furniture.
But it quickly sold out, with some shoppers taking to social media to vent their frustration.
One bargain hunter said the chair "sold out in one minute", with another adding that they were unable to purchase the item despite being "on the site at 8:02".
Another Aldi fan said the hanging egg chair had "sold out after I waited", while one shopper said: "14753 people in front of me in the queue! Don't think I'll bother".
Aldi's original smaller chair has sold-out in record time more than once, and the larger version flew off the shelves when it launched in June.
The Sun has contacted Aldi for comment and to find out when the large chair will be back in stock.
We will update this article with more details when we have them.
You can sign up online to find out when the chair will be available again.
But bear in mind that Aldi will only let customers sign up for notifications on one product due to huge demand.
That means that if you've already got your eye on another Specialbuy, registering for hanging egg chair alerts will delete your previous notifications.
