Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice commemorate BAFTA win with sweet snap

Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice have commemorated their BAFTA win with an adorable snap.

The Strictly Come Dancing winners reunited at the TV BAFTAs on Sunday evening, where they took home the award for Must-See Moment.

Their victory was based on the couple's stunning silent show dance routine to Clean Bandit and Zara Larsson's Symphony, which left viewers of the BBC One programme in tears when it originally aired in November last year.

Giovanni and Rose have since celebrated their big BAFTA win with respective social media posts.

Posting to Instagram after the ceremony, Giovanni shared a picture of himself and Rose clutching their award and exchanging an excitable gaze.

The dance partners looked stunning as they twinned in black for the event.

Giovanni, 31, looked handsome in a three-piece black suit complete with a white shirt and bow tie, while Rose dropped jaws in a backless leather-look black evening gown.

The EastEnders actress, 27, finished her look with an elegant low bun hairstyle, with soft blonde tendrils framing her face.

"We are @bafta winners !! Can’t believe it @rose.a.e," Giovanni wrote in a caption alongside the image.

"The power of the DANCE strikes again!! This time this dance has changed people life and that's what me and Rose wanted to achieve."

After thanking the BBC and the Strictly team, Giovanni praised their fans, adding: "The biggest thank you goes to all of you for your support and your votes, one more time!

"We will never stop being grateful."

The dance partners continued to share their excitement with fans on their Instagram stories.

Paying tribute to her dance partner as she joked around with the award, Rose told Giovanni: "All that time, you trained and trained me so hard and you said I could do better."

Pointing to their BAFTA award, she added: "How much better does it get?"

Rose and Giovanni were further congratulated by their Strictly Come Dancing pals, with Oti Mabuse replying in a comment: "Brilliant."

"Congratulations, so proud of you," added Strictly judge Shirley Ballas.
