Emmerdale: Vinny calls his dad after Liv has a convulsion
Rhona Goskirk (played by Zoe Henry) and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) saw the New Year in together and since then, the spark between them has been reignited. But in the past couple of weeks, they have kept their true feelings under wraps, scared of their currently solid friendship being ruined should they embark on a romance once more. Tonight’s episode of Emmerdale saw the Woolpack chef get jealous when Rhona offered her spare room to newcomer Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin), but she reassured Marlon over her intentions.
“You busy?” Marlon asked and Rhona hit back: “It depends, have you come to offer me money again?”
“It wasn’t meant to offend you. I was just trying to say, if you need help you only have to ask,” Marlon replied. “You don’t have to invite a stranger into your home.”
“Do you have a problem with Charles?” The vet questioned and her ex said he didn’t.
“I can tell when something is bothering you, or is it your date didn’t show up and you’re upset with that? Rhona remarked.

“Come on, I’m relieved. I only went along with that because I felt sorry for Dan,” Marlon explained.
“It’s just, with him in the spare room, there’s no where to stay when we have our family nights.
“And I know it’s not far for me to get back, but I really like it when were all together. With Charles around, it won’t be the same – we’ll probably stop doing it.”
“I’m not going to let that happen,” Rhona said. “I love it when you’re here Marlon. And you can still stay… in my room.”
They were then interrupted by Charles arriving to have a look at Rhona’s spare room and Marlon was left to think about her extremely forward comment.
Those watching at home are loving the scenes between the chef and vet.
Taking to Twitter to comment, one said: “Really hope that rhona and marlon get back together #emmerdale.”
“Aw Rhona and Marlon scenes are currently my new favourite thing #emmerdale,” another wrote.

“Marlon and Rhona are getting closer. I’m pleased and glad that they are getting back together. #Emmerdale,” someone else commented.
Next week Rhona will be pleased when Marlon suggests they spend the afternoon together.
He has planned a surprised afternoon tea date in Hotton for them, but his idea is scuppered.
In a bid to try and cheer Rhona up, he will make a special fancy dress effort to meet her and chooses a Stan Laurel outfit in a nod to the black and white movie nights they used to share.
But can his stunt pay off and will Marlon and Rhona go from friends to lovers once more?
