First Dates at Christmas – when is it on TV and where is it filmed?

FIRST Dates at Christmas will see Fred Sirieix and a team of singletons head to the countryside for some festive fun.

The hopeful singles will endeavour to find the great gift of love this Christmas and spend time at one of the nation’s cosiest pubs.

When is First Dates at Christmas on TV?

First Dates at Christmas will hit screens on Wednesday 23rd December at 9pm on Channel 4.

Presenter Fred Sirieix, 48, will invite the first daters into the one and only First Date restaurant, along with a team of expert matchmakers who will do their best to find the singletons their ideal date.

Once the dates are over, the first daters will trade in the intimate setting of a restaurant for a studio.

Here they will sit side by side, say how they felt the date went and decide if they would like to see each other again or not.

Where is it filmed?

First Dates' usual filming location is at the Paternoster Chop House in central London, near St Paul’s Cathedral.

However the Christmas special will return to the picturesque country pub The Wellington Arms in Baughurst, Hampshire for a second straight year.

The First Dates Hotel’s real name is Aquapetra Resort & Spa, which is located in Italy.

Originally an 18th century hamlet, the hotel boasts an incredible 60 acres of gardens and olive groves, the ideal scenario for a private romantic getaway.
