Furious Katie Price hits back at mum-shamers and says ‘I’m sick to death of justifying myself’

KATIE Price hit back at mum-shamers who relentlessly criticise her parenting.

The mum-of-five said she is "sick to death" of having to justify herself to people she doesn't know.

Speaking on Steph's Packed Lunch, she said: "I'm definitely no Mary Poppins, definitely not, but I'm sick to death of having to justify everything about my life."

Her fiancé Carl Woods said to her: "I think you've got a hard job on your hands, it's a difficult task, and you do very very well with all of them."

Katie shares her home life with followers on social media and often faces cruel comments and criticism.

Her BBC documentary with son Harvey went some way to changing opinions, with viewers praising her caring nature as she opened up about her eldest's disability.

Harvey has Prader-Willi syndrome which affects his development and leads to behavioural and learning difficulties.

More recently Katie has been targeted for allowing her daughter Bunny, six, to wear makeup and for letting her stand close to a candle.

Earlier today she covered up in a baggy navy T-shirt as she headed to the TV studio after her baby-making trip to Portugal.

She tied her short hair up and wore mirrored shades on a sunny day in Leeds.

The loose tee was from her JYY range and she teamed it with some cream jogging bottoms.

Her telly return comes days after she rushed back from the Algarve after it was placed on the UK's Amber-list.

If she hadn't left immediately Katie would have had to quarantine for 10 days once back on home soil.

Last week it was reported that Katie planned to call her baby Lisbon if she got pregnant on the trip.

A source told new! magazine: "After their holiday in Portugal, she's holding on to hope that she could be pregnant."

"She's even joked that if she is, they'll name the baby something like Lisbon after the holiday!"

Although the star has previously discussed undergoing IVF, sources close to Katie have said that she is still holding out hope of falling pregnant naturally.

The source continued: "Katie is still desperate for a baby and is hoping to conceive naturally. But she knows she’s not getting any younger and is worried about her eggs.

"She feels like the odds are stacked against her. However, she is staying positive that she will have another baby."

The Sun contacted Katie's rep for comment.
