I’m A Celeb’s Victoria Derbyshire shares vile habit that’ll anger her in castle

Victoria Derbyshire has decided to share the one habit that will see her become angry with her male campmates as she prepares for I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The BBC broadcaster may be excited to throw herself in at the deep end but she's already preparing herself for life at Gwrych Castle in Abergele, North Wales.

Victoria, 52, has vowed that she will not refuse to take part in one of the infamous Bushtucker Trials – but she will struggle with the toilet situation in the camp.

Campmates famously use "the dunny" to dispose of their natural waste, something Victoria is yet to discover.

"If one of the blokes in the camp pees on the loon seat I'm going to have to say something," she said.

She went on to add: "I have no idea if there's going to be a proper loo. I have no idea. Is there?

"Is it just going to be a hole in the ground? Do castles have loos? I have no idea."

Victoria cited her battle with cancer as her main inspiration for taking part in the competition after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, later undergoing a mastectomy.

"This is a mad thrill adventure that I want to take part in. Because of cancer, I know more than lots of people, life is short," she said.

The news anchor continued: "I am now saying 'yes' to stuff I wouldn't have done previously. And if I don't do my boys proud, I will never live it down.

"They really, really want me to do it and they have kept it a secret for months now because they want me to do it so much."

While she says many will have been left shocked by her decision to compete, she admits that she's always liked an adventure and is excited to have a "laugh" following a "challenging and crazy year".

Famed for bringing the latest and most hard-hitting news to millions of viewers around the world, Victoria admitted that she will find it difficult not knowing what is happening in the outside world.

Joining Victoria at the haunted castle will be Olympic legend Mo Farah, Coronation Street actress Beverley Callard, Radio 1 DJ Jordan North, Singer Jessica Plummer, Strictly Come Dancing's AJ Pritchard, TV presenter Vernon Kay, author Giovanna Fletcher, West End star Ruthie Henshall and EastEnders Shane Richie.

I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! launches on Sunday, November 15 on ITV.
